Dan Roney was born into a family of transportation. His grandfather started in the 1920’s and was granted grandfather rights from the Interstate Commerce Commission in 1937 and his father developed Truck Transport in the 1950’s to have 600 company trucks, 200 owner operators and 200 dock workers and office staff in 1956. 

Then in the 1970’s and 1980’s, Dan developed Trucking Services with 47 company drivers and 25 owner operators and regional offices serving Ontario, Canada and the Great Lakes areas. With experience at several companies and automotive suppliers, Dan gained the experience to manage much larger operations and oversaw the work of 100 truck fleets, and 300 persons for automotive projects then started Dover Services, Inc. in 2007 and continue to grow. 

Dan enjoys sail racing and achieved in Tae Kwon Do a 9th Degree Black Belt and National Referee. Today, he practices QiGong (like Tai Chi) that he learned in China and Thailand to keep going strong and healthy for a balanced life.
